A Newcomer in the French Brokenbeat & Jazz Scene
Coming from the new jazz scene from Marseille city, the young quator Angles Morts is truly a newcomer in the French Brokenbeat & Jazz music scene.
Propelled by a corrosive sound signature mixing house excursions, jungle drifts and fusion fows, their formula seduced the Strasbourg-based broken beat label Dope Tones, who offered them to release this frst opus.
The Birth of Angles Morts
The ANGLES MORTS project was born in the summer of 2020, after its four members met at the Marseille conservatory jazz program, and realized that they shared the same love for the magnetic sound of the 70s jazz fusion, as much as for the British electronic music of the turn of the century.
Driven by the desire to bring jazz to the dancefoors and vice versa by carrying the legacy of the « bruk » sound, they successively locked themselves up in residency and then in the studio to produce a first five tracks EP.
A+D Remix
Their single A + D has been remixed by the two quality artists Pablo Valentino and Attica
One. Pablo Valentino immediately loved the original track and proposed to the label a Deep House remix cut for the dance floor, meanwhile Attica One offers us a pure Broken Beat version of the single A + D.
